Rapid Results — Because They Can’t Talk!

At Oceanside Veterinary Clinic, we understand the importance of accurate and timely diagnoses. We utilize the latest diagnostic technologies to assess your pet’s health effectively. From in-house laboratory testing to advanced imaging, we ensure quick and precise results to guide effective treatment plans.

Advanced Diagnostics, Comprehensive Care

Early detection is key to successful treatment. Oceanside Veterinary Clinic offers comprehensive in-house diagnostics, including advanced equipment and an on-site laboratory. This saves valuable time and ensures your pet receives a diagnosis and necessary treatment sooner.

In-House Laboratory Services

Our on-site laboratory allows us to perform a variety of tests quickly and efficiently, including:

  • Liver enzyme screening
  • Pancreatic evaluation
  • Renal (Kidney) profiles
  • Complete blood counts
  • General chemistries
  • FeLV/FIV testing (cats)
  • Parvovirus testing (dogs)
  • Urinalysis
  • Pre-anesthetic bloodwork
  • Blood parasite screening

While we offer a wide range of on-site diagnostics, some specialized tests may require an outside laboratory. In such cases, we partner with reputable external labs and ensure prompt delivery of results back to our clinic.

Digital Radiology (X-Rays)

Oceanside Veterinary Clinic utilizes advanced digital radiography, providing high-quality images for accurate diagnoses. X-rays are invaluable for detecting abnormalities such as soft tissue damage, foreign bodies, and dental disease. While most radiographs are quick and painless, some procedures may require sedation to ensure clear images and your pet’s comfort.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound is a powerful, non-invasive diagnostic tool that creates real-time images of your pet’s internal structures. It provides valuable information about the circulatory and gastrointestinal systems, and is often used in conjunction with X-rays to identify diseases, blockages, fractures, soft tissue damage, and other internal injuries. We commonly use ultrasound to examine abdominal organs (stomach, kidneys, liver, spleen, gallbladder). Some ultrasound procedures may require sedation to ensure accurate results.
